Each level lasts for approximately 120 hours with a number of 1-10 students per group, this duration can be extended or shortened depending on the students’ development. Each class lasts an hour from Monday to Thursday.
The Cambridge First Certificate Examination or FCE is an examination for a certificate of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) awarded by the University of Cambridge. It is a high demand test with over 250,000 candidates per year.
Cambridge First Certificate Examination (FCE) was created for people who have a general effective understanding of the language, and use communication strategies appropriately in a variety of situations. For instance, the candidate can comprehend the essential message of texts with concrete and abstract topics, and participate actively in a technical conversation within their field of expertise. They can also communicate with sufficient spontaneity and fluidity with native English speakers having an effortless conversation.
There are five papers for the FCE examination:
The speaking part of the test lasts up to 14 minutes. You will take your speaking test with two other candidates. You will be required to discuss topics or materials such as pictures or a listening as part of the group and also by yourself.
You will have 40 minutes to answer 30 questions. You will be required to demonstrate the ability to understand spoken English in a variety of different situations, such as interviews, lectures, news programmes and public announcements.
You will have one hour and 20 minutes to write two short pieces of about 120 – 180 words each. You will need to demonstrate the ability to write different text types, such as letters, reports, essays, emails and short stories.
You will be required to answer questions to demonstrate your understanding of English grammar and vocabulary.
You will have one hour to answer 30 questions on three different texts. You will be required to answer questions on a variety of different text types, such as newspaper articles, reports, advertisements, brochures, letters and messages.

The test is based on practical tasks, and represents a major advantage for anyone who is interested in working or studying abroad or at an international company.
The FCE certifies having sufficient knowledge of the English language and has curricular value, which allows the person to work in administrative or managerial positions in various business sectors.
Candidates who pass the exam receive a certificate awarded by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, and a list of all results obtained in the five tests involved in the examination.
